Everything about running a miner, in plain terms.
Market Miner is an idle mining game wrapped around the Robinhood ecosystem. Switch a miner on, point it at what you want it to work, and it stacks rewards while you go about your day. No jargon required — this page walks through the whole thing.
What this is
A mining game that funds itself. You play; a shared treasury keeps the rewards real.
Three things move in a circle here: trading activity around the ecosystem, the purchases players make inside the game, and the token rewards that flow back out to miners. Money coming in tops up a treasury; that treasury is what makes the rewards you earn actually redeemable.
Run it
Turn on one miner and watch each reward stream tick up on its own.
Fund it
Verified inflows keep the treasury stocked with real reward inventory.
Grow it
Upgrades and boosts push more activity back through the loop.
What you can mine
One miner, two kinds of markets. Fill your slots with whatever mix you like.
Meme tokens
The Robinhood Chain meme set, each token contract-checked before it's allowed in. Every one carries its own rate, its own reserve, and its own payout minimum — and it only turns on once it's fully backed.
Stocks & ETFs
Reward streams that track Robinhood-listed names — think AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, SPY. They build up per slot exactly like the meme streams and land in the same balance.
Mining a stock stream is a game mechanic, full stop. It doesn't buy or hold the real security, it isn't a brokerage account, and nothing here is investment advice.
The daily loop
Five beats, on repeat.
- 1
Open an account and flip your miner on.
- 2
It only earns from streams that are live and backed — nothing accrues from an empty pool.
- 3
Want more? Buy a permanent upgrade or a short-term boost.
- 4
The share that goes to the treasury restocks rewards and keeps the lights on.
- 5
Once a token's contract, route, reserve, and minimum all line up, your balance becomes withdrawable.
The trade tax
A 4.5% cut on buys and sells is the treasury's steady drip.
4.5%
on every buy and every sell
The token model skims 4.5% off buys and 4.5% off sells. That money feeds the Market Miner treasury — reward inventory, liquidity, and the day-to-day cost of keeping things running.
Worth knowing:the tax only works while the live contract and venue support it. Treasury receipts aren't guaranteed, and if the split ever changes, it'll be announced in the open first.
Upgrading your miner
Permanent tiers that raise your ceiling for good.
An upgrade is a one-time, account-level purchase that bumps your mining multiplier and unlocks more streams at once. It's not physical hardware, it doesn't promise a dollar return, and it can't conjure rewards out of a pool that isn't funded.
How the ladder works
Tiers stack in order. Before you buy, the screen lays out the price, the multiplier, which streams it covers, and whether you need the tier below it first — no surprises at checkout.
Boosts
Temporary muscle on top of whatever miner you already own.
Boosts are optional, timed multipliers. The buy screen spells out the multiplier, how long it lasts, the price, when it kicks in, and when it ends — before you commit. When the clock runs out, you drop back to your permanent tier automatically.
Upgrade and boost spending are extra fuel for the treasury. They help keep the system funded — they don't promise to hand their full value back to you.
When rewards go live
Only fully-backed streams ever turn on.
The meme set is kept as a dated, contract-checked snapshot, and stock and ETF streams get the same review. A meme token only becomes mineable once its contract, decimals, payout route, reserve, rate, minimum, and artwork all clear; an equity stream needs a funded pool and a set rate first. The current top-ten rollout is all-or-nothing — it doesn't launch halfway.
Until you collect and a transfer settles on-chain, a mining balance is just a running tally. Prices move, contracts carry risk, and the token amounts you see aren't guaranteed dollar figures.
The fine print
Read this part twice.
- The 4.5% tax funds the treasury. It isn't a promise of profit or that the treasury will always be enough.
- Upgrades and boosts raise your in-game output — not your guaranteed financial return.
- Rewards can pause if pools, contracts, liquidity, or treasury services go offline.
- On-chain withdrawals can't be undone. Double-check the destination every time.
- Market Miner is independent and not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, Inc.
